stalling problem
stalling problem
i got a 95 ford ranger with the 4.0 in it auto trans 4x4 it will stall every once and a while like if you give it a little gas then it will stay running but somtimes it will be idleing then the idle will slowly drop then it stalls but it does not do it all the time like once or twice a day. but drives fine when you are moving or giving it some gas. i replace the air idle positioning sensor but that didnt help. what could it be?
thank you
thank you
Ok, I saw a post the other day that said the throttle position control that is located on the end of the throttle plate can cause one to act funny at idle or during operation of the throttle. I had to replace that on my '93 Ranger once because the engine was acting funny.
