This is from the lil ford dealer where my truck is sitting. All the big name companies like hertz and enterprise had a freakin waiting list. How ghey is that? This isn't a one way rental. I'm def not driving it back to my house then back to Cincinnati. Screw that.

thats ghey... i thought they had 3.0's in them...

no way bro! 2wd sits like a car. i move around to get my wallet out my back pocket and the whole truck shimmies. crap 2wd suspension.

Royal Purple motor oil is for ppl who have nothing better to do with their money. I find it hard enough to justify spending almost $40 a case on Mobil 1

so did they tow your Ranger back to your home town?

that really sucks......there IS a warranty with EVERY new engine and all the work that a Ford garage does.......i would say the mechanic that worked on it before didn't put something back correctly....he will lose his job...

No they didn't tow it back. It's sitting in some lil hicktown in the middle of nowhere. Once I pick up my topper in the morning I have to drive back there to drop off this rental truck. I gotta transfer the cap onto my truck and then make arrangements to get it back home. My only guess is to get a uhaul truck and a car dolly. I really don't wanna do that. I heard it's not good on the driveline. Anyone know what other options I have or if I go this route should I d/c the rear drive shaft???

You should be able to get a flat bed trailer. Budget and uhaul do rent them.

http://www.uhaul.com/guide/index.asp...-autotransport

They do have ful size regular cab pick ups, but odds are its a v6. you may need to get a cargo van.

u haul rents flatbeds i think. or take the big rig?

that sucks hardcore man. i agree head should roll.

if you do have to use a dolly, cant you just undo the driveshaft from the transfer case and rear end?
