i use motorcraft all the time but used 5w20 for the winter season

 

i use vavloline last time i made the switch to full syn from regular. I change every 5K and i use fram ultra tough guard filter. My mindset is it might be a little more expensive now but my engine will appreciate it and its mostly likely going to make the truck last longer and save me more money in the end.

 

i love syn all iv ever used in any of the cars i work on in the family's fleet haha mobile 1 5-30 with a fram filter or if the bosh or k&n filter is on sale and never any engine problems. my mom had a 94 merc villager with over 260k on it and when we got rid of it the motor ran like a top and i believe it is from running syn in it from day one. so full syn is all i will ever run.

 

i run only mobil1 full synthetic it costs a little more but it pays itself off in performance
