Ticking noise?

When I am doing ~ 20-30mph I hear a faint ticking noise when I let off the gas. The rocker arms were replaced with the pushrods a little over 1000 miles ago so I doubt that is the culprit. Could it just be the normal sound of the coil pack or ignition, if not then what?

if it is coming from the engine you should be able to hear it while it's parked.. just hold the revs in the RPM range that you usually hear it and see if it's there, if not then maybe it's something else in the drivetrain.

It is coming from the engine bay but the noise from the fan drouns it out.
I know it is not a belt noise because the tick is faster like how you would expect a tick everytime a cylinder fires which is why I believe it might be the ignition. I havn't heard of a coil pack making noise though.
