Ticking noise

I have a 02 FX4 4.o and it has a ticking noise, about every 5 seconds it will tick and slightly drop RPM then pick it back up, any ideas? At idle

It's just your AC compressor cycling on and off. It's normal, but every 5 seconds is a lot, sunds like you have low freon
