Timing chain guids and loose rocker arms
Timing chain guids and loose rocker arms
Hi I just recently pulled out my 03 4.0l
sohc v6 Ford ranger engine due to it started to misfire alot and it just shut off one day and wouldn't start back up. Now the problem in having is when I went to restart the engine it's weird because just the fan and the belt turned a d the engine just sounded like it was spinning but no catching. So I called my mechanic and he said it was my timing it must have jumped because it was like there was no compression. So after u removed the valve covers I did notice broken timing chain guids and then I noticed some loose rocker arms??? Any help on what to do and how to fix it please whitch I know the timing kit has to be replaced but what about the loose rocker arms??? Any help thanks!!
