Tuner/ Programmer?

I need to get a Tuner/ Programmer to calibrate my speedometer and odometer but I would also like to be able to change the speed limiter and pick up a bit more power and hopefully some fuel economy. I've looked at a few different tuners and I'm not sure which one to get or which one has better options or does a better job tuning.
any information would be greatly appreciated!

I had a sct livewire for my 6.0l powerstroke. It was very easy to calibrate my speedo, and remove my top speed limiter, rev limiter, shift points, shift firmness ect. I was also impressed with there tuning, even the canned tunes were pretty good.

Mine one tune was $50. Well worth the price in my opinion.

My throttle response is better, its quicker, and I get better mpg.

I have 295/75/16 size tires and a lift. It made my truck almost as quick as it was stock.

You're not going to see huge gains but you will see them. For having 33 1/2 inch tires and a lift. I'm happy with being just about as quick as a stock truck.

I have a 91 performance tune.

Do you have to make a tune for each truck individually or are there like separate tunes for each model? So a tune for 2004 3.0 manual 4x2 and a different one for 2004 3.0 manual 4x4?..

The X3 locks to your trucks Vin#. So to tune 2 trucks I think you need 2 X3's

An x3 with 3 tunes (for ONE truck as mentioned) is 380 from rogue. I would say that yes it is worth it. There aren't necessarily tunes for each model, each custom tune is made based on mods you have done and what you will be using the truck for (towing, performance, torque, mileage, etc)

There are a few places that do ranger tunes, none that are really mainstream, but they are made specifically for your truck. You will see more of a difference thn a more generic tune, as the are tuned me conservatively to work with more vehicles safely.
