351 oil pan

351 oil pan

need oil pan rear sump for 351c. Stock one is to close to I beam needs 3" back, or do i make one?

I don't think you will find an off-the shelf rear sump 351c oil pan, but worth a look, which I am sure you have done, lol, the pickup tube should be available
The 351c, 351m/400 used the same block, these engines were used mostly in trucks so oil pan clearance wasn't a big issue, engine just sat a little higher in the engine bay

The Fox Body Mustangs used the 302 with dual sump pan, which won't fit the 351c, but.............I would look on the mustang forums because I am sure more than a few swapped in the 351c or m over the years, and they would run into this same issue

lifted engine up a little now it will work 2in clearence

There are aftermarket pans for this.
