I know might get some hate but lately there have been a few more then usual Titans at the junkyard and I know the guy and he gets me some pretty good deals, but this would be for after I get another daily driver, but basically tranny and all but unfortunately loosing my favorite part, shifting shears manually
what do you guys think of the Titan 5.6 and later down the road cammed tuned and turbo or super

First, I would be wondering why so many in the wrecking yards, lol
Second, I would hang out a bit on some Nissan/Titan forums and see whats being said about the 5.6l engine and trans, not sure many here will have a history with that engine or trans, I know I don't
Third, would be overall size of this engine, see if you can find the dimensions of it, width is the biggest issue, the 302/5.0l Ford V8 is 19" wide and barely fits, height is another thing but you can always do a body lift.
Its a 90deg V8 and DOHC to boot, so is likely to be too wide to fit in a Ranger engine bay without deleting heater box and moving steering shaft over.
Anything CAN be done, but there are some practical issues that need to be looked at
And you can use a Chevy LS1 engine, not too wide, or even build a Ford 302, which you know would fit, to match any horse power you want
