so hears the deal. im parting out my 85 bronco and i want to keep the driveline (engine,trans...etc..) now i was thinking of buying a ranger for the desert and puting that engine in it...i know i can have it put in for free, but with the engine being from an 85. can i put that in say, in a 90. or does it have to be in an older one....

 

you can put any engine in any vehicle within reason a 90 should work tho my friend has a 94 with a 460 he breaks everything tho too much power

 

it will work just get the swap kit from summit. and it sounds like your gonna be using it for a desert truck so i dont think youll have to worry about emissions. ive got a 94 and im thinking about doing the samething to.

 

well i dont have to worry about emissions cause i live in arizona where there is no regulations for emissions. plus its gunns be my dd
