I have a 1984 Ford ranger 5.0 (302) swap in it. I just bought it about a month ago and would like to replace the oil pan. It's a double sump oil pan an I am having difficulty pulling the pan off. The cross-member is right under it stopping it from slipping right out. I would prefer not to pull the engine, but would like to know how out get this out. It's only caught by maybe lesss than a 1/4 inch.

If anyone has had experience from this please let me know.
