And no, I don't plan on running a door over the fuel cell... It is kinda hard to tell what I did here, but I actually welded in about a 5" tube to about half an inch or so from where the cell is then ground it down on top to be flush with the bed runners. I can always add one later if I decide I don't like it, but I didn't want anything sticking up. I even thought if I didn't like the opening that maybe I'd just put a rubber bed mat in too. So far, I like it just open, its easy to get my hand in there and pull the cap out as is.

Actually, it pulled (and stopped) it GREAT!!! I was really impressed... I used to pull a boat with it, and it wasn't much different. I think my 87 is just under 3000lbs, and the trailer is pretty light, but a dual axle has to help out some. If I were to want to pull it often, I would probably hook the trailer brakes up, but in this pic, I was just taking it to an exhaust shop in town. Thought the ranger on ranger action was cool though! ;-)
