You will be surprised. If your tuner knows what he is doing, then you will not knowtice a difference in mpg's. Only thing i am worried about with your setup is the big injector but still high impedance. You might have some part throttle and/or idle problems, but that is all up to your tuner.

He is the only one around where I live that have talked to me and I could see that he knows what he's talking about. I told him the power that I want and he told me that I would only get it with these injectors and once again he told me that he could tune it with no problems for idle. He has tuned a Ford GT that have gone up to 1800 WHP CRAZY!!!

Thanks. The guy that does this custom kits (Exhaust manifold and downpipes)
does it this way since there is only one BIG exit.

After a few runs including the one that I video taped, the truck started to smoke like it was a concert smoking machine so I decided to stop that by installing a moroso breather tank

Here is the bracket that I made that is going to hold the tank

Moroso breather tank

After several hours thinking where teh heck i was going to mount the tank since the tank is a little taller than what I thought, because I was going to mounted next to the fuel regulator but the lines were going to hit the intake tube so no. I found the perfect spot next to the battery bracket/support/whatever its called lol

Here it is on its new home lol

For the breathing lines I used -10an lines and fitting which are more than enough in my opinion. Also I used a -16 an fitting and cap as an oil cap becuase the rubber oil cap after a while the rubber get soft and lets oil come out.

Again another shot

A shot on the other side

I took the truck for a little drive and guess what no more oil smoking machine lol

BTW I also deleted the pcv valve I put a rubber plug in the hole so I don't have to worry about boost going into the block. I used this

When I changed the stock rims for the ones I have for now (17") back in 2001, the truck never stopped the same (NOW IMAGE WITH A V8 AND TURBO). That's when I knew I wanted big brakes for my truck. But unfortunately all of us know that Wilwood and other brake companies don't care about making big brakes for the rangers, except for revolutionbrakes.com they make kits for probably all the cars.
Anyways here are some pics of my brake project. As of now I can only do the rear side first, because I don't have the fron't rotors and brackets yet.
I should be getting them next week (Can't wait)

This is the kit that I bought. It has an internal parking brake.

This is my Ford 9+ rearend, axle removed

The parking brake and caliper bracket goes first

Name: SNC000519.jpg
Views: 372
Size: 222.9 KB
Then the axle goes in

Name: SNC000610.jpg
Views: 315
Size: 266.3 KB
I had to cut the OEM axle retainer and installed the wilwood retainer since the caliper bracket is thicker

Name: SNC000611.jpg
Views: 306
Size: 203.6 KB
Next, the rotor and the caliper are installed

Size: 105.6 KB

Name: SNC000516.jpg
Views: 298
Size: 129.9 KB
And that's how it looks

this is the front caliper which is a lot bigger than the rear ones. Both front and rear calipers have 4 pistons.

I haven't tested them yet since I don't have the complete front kit and I don't have the back lines yet, and I need to flush the system also.

I will post pictures of the front kit as soon as I get them!

Wow, sweet brake package (as well as the rest of the truck obviously). Mind if I ask the price or where you bought it from?

From what I understand the guy who machined the rotors/hubs to work with 13" Cobras that everyone was using jacked his prices up like crazy, so this may be a lot more reasonable for an entire kit.

Thanks

^^Thanks!!

Both kits I bought were from revolutionbakes.com BUT I did buy the front rotor/hub and caliper brackets but I don't know if is the same guy you are talking about. I bought the rotor/hub adapter and caliper brackets from Tee Rev aka racin' ranger from rangerpowersports.com which he designed to work with the wilwood calipers at no extra cost. I bought the kit around october last year and it
cost me $345 plus $40 ups charge from canada, I don't think he raised the price but I could be wrong. Both front and back kits cost me like $2500 plus the $385.

Note: The front kit is made for a 96-04 mustang not a ranger but again with the rotor/hub I can use them.

Yeah, he bumped the price to $425 plus the unknown $40 UPS surcharge that pops up when you recieve the package.

i think you paid too much for that kit though....a Cobra R caliper would have been just has good...and only slightly better than the standard cobra caliper. Did you try the PBR cobra caliper before going with the 4piston ones??

^^Damn that sucks

And no, I've never tried the PBR cobra caliper but I've always liked
Wilwood over factory cobra brakes. The cobra R calipers I do like since it's Brembo but they apparently forgot the rear. I want one brand name for the entire system

Well, it was about time I buy the rims lol. It took me this long becuase I ordered some 15s by 10 but i found out that the brakes were too big for these rims and that also i could squeeze one more inch wide, so i went for the 17s by 11. In a couple of weeks I'll have the drag radials. Hopefully that will help with my traction issues lol. And yes I still have to buy the front rims.
