T-5 tranny in 91 2300 ranger

OK so can someone set me straight here cause I cant get a straight answer. I have my 302 from a 92 mustang.I have my stock motor mounts. I just need the plate to fit it in? Second and most important will my trans T-5 bolt up and what do I use for a clutch fork? My ranger has a hydro clutch and what I have on the bellhousing is for a cable. This gone on for days of calling all these places going online. What do I need to do? Ive gotten links and there deadends as far as trans goes. Just tell me here please so I can do this, Thanks

Have a read here: Ford Ranger V-8 Engine Swap

T5 is a good choice just not an easy choice, and not that common, which is why there is not alot about it for this swap.
M5OD-R2 from an F-150 V6 '97-'02(same pattern as 302) and shifter is in the same place as the Ranger M5OD-R1, so is an easier swap.

You can add a hydraulic slave to the outside of the bell housing to move the clutch fork.
They do make a hydraulic clutch conversion kit for the T5 but costs about $500
Switching over to mechanical would probably be harder to do.
