Finally back at the 5.0, together now and ready to drop in except for small detail stuff.
I was painting the thermostat housing and was wondering... do these things like cold or hot? there are SEVERAL choices in thermostats.

Motor was out of a 97 mountaineer, had the "non P" heads virtually stock except for motorsport headers, dual exhaust. Automatic.

No engine likes cold, 190-195degF would be stock thermostat
