It's really not to bad once you get the hang of it... After I pulled the door liner off, there is a layer of thin, plastic lining that is held by adhesive on the lining. Take your time and pull it down, and off if necessary, but I didn't. After I wiped everything off with alcohol, I started laying the eDead. I measured it from the outside of the truck and then I roll it back up, only backwards. I left the peel-away plastic on until it was in the actual door. There's a horizontal tube that is up-tight against the outer door skin... I layed a roll of eDead horizontally, one above the tube, and one below... If you lay the sound deadner where you want it, then just start to peel away the back and press the deadner on, it's pretty easy. It's somewhat time consuming, but the finished piece is a lot better then if you just peel away the whole back and try to work with it...

Does that help with being careful???
