Which CB?

Which CB?
I need to get a new CB for the BII. I am looking at these 2 Cobra's. Which one would you get?
- 18 WX ST II:

I like this one because of the front mount speaker. That eliminates the need for an external speaker. This one also has weather channels.
- 19 DX IV

With this one, I would need an external speaker to hear it well. This also has a PA output in it incase I wanted to install a PA speaker.
What do you all think?

haha this is funny..My friend has the first one in his Tundra and I have the second one in my Bronco...I would go w/ the second one for sure. The front mount speaker is nice but it is no louder than the 19...oh and BTW..his has messed up already and he doesnt even hardly use it...mine is still clear as the day I bought it....save some space and go for the 19 man!

Well crap, the local Pilot Truck Stop (about 8-9 miles from home) has the Cobra 29 Classic for $69.99.

And the local Love's Truck Stop (right across the interstate from Pilot) has a Midland 1001Z for $29.99

If your still undecided.. i would really go to a CB shop and buy one.. truck stop ones are junk and only reach 10ft.
All the time in columbus you can flip the cb on and all the shops are advertising for channel 24 or others... flip over and ask where they are located and go meet them... They'll fix you up..
Hell if you were still in columbus i would take you to the one i deal with called "teddybears cb shop" guy named "grasshopper" hooks it up if he knows you...

hmm, well if the flying J or Pilot is down the road, i would just go there and maybe as a trucker....
But your best bet is to not waste your money until you find a good one... i paid 160$ for my cobra 29... and another 60 to get it maxed out and tuned... and i can talk pretty far out...
