I'm new to the whole truck thing. I bought my 2011 Ranger only about a month ago and really see the need for a good backup camera. I've read all the posts about the "best" backup camera but that only left me confused because of contradictory posts. My truck is a 2011 Ranger ETX. IF COST WAS NOT A CONSIDERATION, I would like to get suggestions on what backup camera & radio to buy, My wish list: Bluetooth, CD player, AM/FM/Sirius radio, backup camera with lines. I'm 76 and plan on keeping my Ranger until I meet my maker, then pass it on to my grandson. I love this truck!

Its from 2012 but in my opinion Pioneer is still your best bet, they make good stuff and have done for many many years
The article is mostly for the Double Din install items needed for Rangers

"DIN" is a dimension used for radios in cars/trucks, one din would be regular size, double din is same width but twice as high


Just FYI, Bluetooth SUCKS THE LIFE out of a phone battery, drains them pretty fast so set up a charger to plug in any audio source using bluetooth

 

OK, things are progressing. I bought a new Pioneer 601EXBUCAM 7" DVD Receiver. I also bought an install kit Best Kit BKFMK552 Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 1995-Up Ford/Mercury/Lincoln and a Metra 70-1771 harness. I need to be sure I have ALL the right things I need to install this in my Ranger. I don't like the camera that came with the receiver so I would like to get another one. I wish I could find one of the Ford emblem models. My emblem is 5" wide. Any suggestions?
