CD 6 Error: Won't eject disks

Question... my 6-disk CD changer is displaying an error and won't play or eject the cd's. It seems like something is jammed. Any ideas on how to get this thing going again or at least get the disks out? I've read about this in the past but haven't seen anything lately, any help would be great!

This happens all the god damn time in my dads truck with his stock one. The only thing that ever has done anything is just keep trying it everytime you get in the truck. If you find out anything post it please.

I had to actually open up my stock one and get a disc out that fell off the track. Worked fine after that.

There are a ton of problems like this with those stock disc changers. I finally took the one out of my wifes escape and installed a single disk.

welcome to the world of 6 disc. Mine jammed and never gave them back. Would say there was NO CD if I clicked eject or tried to change.

When I changed headunits I just took it all apart and got my cd's back

Happens to me intermittently, I'm fed up and getting a new head unit. It's got other problems besides that anyway

I had the same issue. I ended up getting a new radio and ended up just tearing it apart to get my cd's.

I'm glad I read this. I was going to search for a 6 disk for my truck to replace the single but I think I'll just stay with what i have.

If anyone wants to keep their's and give it another try, there's a store on ebay that fixes them. Basically if I remember correctly you send them yours and they install a new changer piece and send it back. Can't remember how much it cost though.
