Front speakers producing more bass?
old post yes but...
soo i installed my pioneer 3ways yesterday and they really dont have much treble at all.... theyre not blown because i can turn all power to the rear and have treble then, but the bass still overpowers it... any ideas....

External amplifier? Could be the crossover filter is set to the wrong side (hi/lo/full)
Make sure speakers are wired correctly (in phase, positive to positive, etc). But that would be more noticable in lower frequencies than higher.
The front speakers are also pointed toward our knees, maybe they just don't have much vocalization "off-axis"? Another possible yet unlikely cause.

I have more bass out of my rears than my fronts. I don't know why mine is different than everyone else's. I have a 98 with the suicide doors my speakers are mounted to the metal. My head unit is a pioneer that puts great sound out.
