how to take out head unit

If you want to, this way is a little more involved but you dont need to have any special tools or anything.
Take out the bezel by removing the 2 7mm bolts underneath the radio, and then pull the bezel from the dash. It's held in with pressure clips. Remove the clips that run to all your accessories (cig lighter, 4x4 switch, fog lights, etc.) so you can work with it a little easier. you'll see there are some metal clips on the side of the ford cd player that hold it in. Press them in and you can get the cd player out. takes some finagling, but it is easier than trying to get it out without removing the bezel
