im looking at two rockford fosgate series 1 ten inch subs in a box, no clue if ported or not, he has the amp also, but i was just wondering are these good subs? how old they are, and how much the retail for, ill tell you its not like your going to be buying them out from underneeth me, he wants $80 for the subs and box, i cant remember what he wants for the amp, aint too much is it a good deal? should i pass and look for something better? thanks ahead, and FYI still loooking for front and rear speakers

 

I have those subs, And yes Rockford Fosgate makes good subs and amps, I think I paid around $110 for the subs and made my boxes (sealed) but they work ported as well, so overall $80 might not be too bad with a box.
The reason I chose those subs was the price was good, and my ears liked them, I listened to alot of subs and I just like the Fosgates the best for what I could afford at the time, would of liked the P2's but it was just out of my price range at the time so overall I am very happy with them.

 

i say that's a great deal! rockford subs sound great especially for the price. and for $80 ya might as well try them out! if you decide you don't like them it would be no problem getting your money back on that one

 

if they come with a box, 80 isn't bad, like other have said, if you don't like em you could get your money back selling em. id go for it as long as they aren't beat up or anything
