mounting the AMP

mounting the AMP

where should i mount my AMP in my extended cab?

Are your subs in a box? If so, screw it to the top or side of the box and make the wiring look good.

I pulled out my back panel, cut away some of the insulation and screwed in a piece of 3/4" plywood. Then I just screwed the amp into the plywood from the front.

I had a 300w Kenwood amp mounted to the bottoms of each of the rear fold down seats.When the seats were up you could see them,I had the wiring nicely routed out of sight, and when they were down you would never know they were there.I never took a pic and just took all my system out because I have had one too many close calls with water in the cab when I was out wheelin.

I would put a screen in front of your sub to protect it if i were you. too exposed.

i did it pretty ghetto. i just put .5" screws into the carpet in my ext cab and it doesn't fly around haha.
