Pioneer Aftermarket H/U ( doesn't work with the pioneer specific ipod adapter)
FM tuner, tried every preset station and a few others

this thing was powerful enough at the beginning, that 107.9 fm came in decent and the iPod went right over it. same thing with 88.1fm.... theres no settings to change on the ipod of the tuner so I'm just like WTF at this point. I dont wanna be out 85 bucks, so I'm looking for the receipt but I'd rather this **** just worked

does the headunit have any aux. input? i'd never waste my time with an FM transmitter unless it was a last resort

do you have a connection for the changer? if so, then yes, it should work

EDIT: i looked it up.. you'll need either the CDRB10 or CDRB20, depending on which it is (im not sure). the RB10 is like 20 bucks, the RB20 is like 75ish (according to one website, so it may be cheaper elsewhere).

anyways, you'll have to take a look to see which one it is (i didnt see pics, so i dont know myself).

alright, i looked closer.

you'll need the CD-RB10 (like 20-25 bucks). it plugs into the CD changer jack on the back of the headunit, and allows for portible players to be plugged into it via RCA jacks. so that's what you'll need. NO STATIC AT ALL THIS WAY!

from there, you'll probably need some sort of "RCA plug to 1/8" stereo miniplug" so it'll connect with your ipod (im assumming ipod's have 1/8" jacks on them). they're a couple bucks, nothing too expensive.

the CD-RB20 is used if you wish to connect your ipod, and still connect a CD changer (if you had one already using that jack in the back of the headunit).

I'm not an expert, but two of my friends have ipods with the fm transmitter thing and they both have to use FM 89.10 for theirs to work. Maybe give that a shot? Sorry if this doesn't mean **** lol.

I know my Pioneer DEH-P6500 Headunit doesent have an AUX output/plug, so i just got the Monstar Icarplay myself to go with my newly added 30gig Ipod Photo. It seems to work very well, you just have to change stations randomly(the outside rasio signals come in and out periodicially) I mean like i usually sue 90.5 but for some reason all of a sudden a station started coming in so i had to change to 88.3 Just find the station w/ no signal(or as little as possible) and as little static as possible. It is a hard and tedious task, but its worth taking 5min to do.
