re audio

has anybody here heard of re audio? well i was thinking about getting there sex series 12 that at full power can do 150 decibels according to the guy at my audio shop.

x2 no way a single SEX will do a 150

old RE audio was really good stuff, before the x line crap. the ones with the 12 spoke basket are the good ones, the ones with the black plastic cover are JUNK!

the SE is a good SQ sub, and it will get low, the SX is more SPL but still sounds good musically.

I had an SX 15" and it was really decent in my mazda. As far as the newer stuff I don't know first hand, but I have heard that they are nowhere near what they used to be.

i said forget for the re audio sx sub and got a pioneer 3500w 12. now i just need to build a 2 cu ft box

iirc its like 1k-1500rms on the pioneer he is talking about, i would take a old SX over that

i think one of my friends had 2 of them in his jeep. they pounded pretty well but iirc they didnt sound all that great.. but that could have been the box as well.

my buddy had one of the exact same sub i got with a kenwood 1500w amp that pounded sooo hard. but the next car i get im putting 2 of these in it with most likely a hifionics amp. but right now im running my 600 rms alpine v12 amp. and it has a garbage ported box. so im building a bigger box and getting a new amp soon. but i need ti figure out how do u caliculate the cubic foot of a sub box cuz i would like my new box to new around 2 cu ft

i can design a box for u

and i would say 1.5 each would be best, so 3ft^3 will be great

guy I grew up with down here has a donk mobile and has something like 3 or 4 15" re's in the back. you can hear him 200+ yards coming haha like 300 yards going
