I have a 2008 ext cab, with a jvc head unit (kd-x340bts) that was in it when I bought it. Decided to go down the route of replacing my door speakers both front and back, once replaced, the front are playing fine but the rear are playing no sound at all. I’ve messed with the fader, and still plays nothing from the rear, I’ve factory reset the unit. Any more suggestions for me to try out?

 

Where the rear speakers working before you mess with it? If not than maybe the head unit is the issues.

 

i dont think so. i still have a stock one set up on one side and it doesnt work, head unit wiring is my suspicion too, just wondering if anybody had some other things to try

 

Not much so long as the wire are plugged correct + and - in the correct spot.
