sony Xplod amp

sony Xplod amp

getting this amp, and was wondering if there was a way to change the blue light inside? love to put a red bulb in there, match the rest of my interior. anyone know

sony's usually are overrated in the power department.......i had an older xplod amp and it was ok....it overheated if i played it for a while....the only thing i know about the newer ones is they are overrated...

if you want a good cheaper amp, then get a Audiobahn amp......i love mine and it is pushing out the more power it says........i had it metered and it shows about 100 watts continous more than it is rated at....

Sony products are CEA-2006 compliant, so they really cannot be "underrated". They are probably more true than other companies, but I would doubt they are typically understated like other products always are (MTX)

I'm sure there's a way to change out the blue LED with a red one, but I'd rather not solder a brand new amplifier. You might get lucky if it's just the lense that is colored, or the LED is really out in the open and easy to change out...
