I have an alpine 500w with two polk audio 10". A little under powered but for what I listen to it's perfect. Alpine makes good quality stuff.

All depends how much you spend, build specs of box, location of box... Etc digital designs makes a 10" sub that will blow away most people's twin 12" setups.

Post how much room your willing to lose and a price point.

i think the first step firstly is what needs do you have and priority's with the truck...
do you need the whole cab, do you need part, price range, basic build, advanced build, ect....
