Sub Help

So im looking at getting a 15" sub and im wondering if the box will fit in the back of an extended cab

Box Dimensions are as follows:17-1/16"W x 16-3/4"H x 15-3/16"D1 x 12"D2

yeah the box will fit in the back, but is it a prebuilt box or a custom for the sub? stay away from pre builts.

not with those dimmensions, thats only like 1.64ft^3 and u need like 3-3.5ft^3 for a 15

so ive changed my mind and decided to go with 2 12's which would be better? 2 seperate boxes or a single box?

what subs are u using? and i would just do a single box like 3-3.5ft^3@32hz thats if your doing ported

im goin with 2 rockford fosgate P2D412's, and i have no experience with any car audio. for now i was just planning on doin a prebuilt box in the back until i get back to the states and can either make a box or get one made

im gettin them for 110 a piece and im not absolutely set on them but i do know i want rockford

why rockford? i havent heard really anything special about them, have u heard of DC sound lab? the lvl 2 would put the P2 to shame

rockford is just something i have liked for a while, one of my buddies had a full rockford system and it was pretty awesome

and the only place ive found that will ship to me out here is crutchfield so far. so im pretty much limited to a few brands

ok so another question, if im running 2 subs, whats the best kind of amp to go with? mono, 2 channel? more?

also if each sub is 75-300 watts RMS@4ohms what should be the minimum wattage for the amp?

mono, and since ur getting dual 4s u will need something at like 600 RMS@1 or 4ohms

Trying to get a design and blueprints to put 2 12" sub behind driver seat in 93 extended cab. But only driver seat have to keep passenger back free
