A/V junkies... I need to know which signal is better.

I have an xbox 360 which I have hooked up to my computer monitor at home to utilize a higher screen resolution than what my standard tv can offer.

Currently I have a cable that connects my xbox through the vga port on my monitor. I found that the monitor also has an HDMI port, and now I'm wondering what would give me the best resolution, my current VGA connection, or an HDMI connection?

HDMI is WAY Better.
If your xbox 360 elite or halo edition then you have one built in. If its Premium or core edition then you don't have HDMI.

It is the Elite, however, if I remember correctly, the cables coming off of my xbox are either your common rca inputs, or your hi-def rca inputs. I don't remember it having an hdmi inputs, however I might not have known what it was at the time.

Ah, found a photo, the OEM cable doesn't have an HDMI adapter, so I would have to pick something up... damn.

Just so I know, what is the difference between the VGA and the HDMI in quality?
