This radio has the extra plug in the back. I didn't see the button for the CD changer, or the AUX button, but will it control the iPod with one of those plugs that plugs into the cd changer plug?

 

it might. on mine for the cd changer function i have to hit the cd button twice.

 

sweet.....i hope it works.....if i can find a CD6, non-mp3 player that will control an iPod, then i don't need the mp3 player in the radio since i can plug my iPod into...

 

y dont you just buy an aftermarket cd player and then buy the adapter that will also charge your ipod? its like $230 all said and done on a cheap pioneer dash kit harness and ipod adapter.

 

because I like the looks of the stock radios......and I don't want to go to an aftermarket......been there, done that, didn't like the looks of it....

yea I know i will need one of those.....that is the controller I was talking about......

my radio now doesnt have the extra plug in the back for that to plug into though.....the radio i posted above has the extra plug, but it doesnt have the AUX or CD Changer button on it and i was curious if it the iPod interface would work with it...


i wonder if that will also work with the iPhone (that is really what I am talking about when i say iPod..)

 

If I can get the pictured radio to work w/ and control my iPod, I'm willing to bet you can get your iPhone to work w/ the radio you initially posted about. ...and it would most likely be a lot easier too.
