getting black flares black again

on my fx4, they have started to go from black when i got it to a grey, and i see on here alot of you have nice shiny black. what do you use to get them back to the original color? ive used the mothers back to black and it seems to work alright, but is there anythign better out there that lasts longer?

I was going to suggest the mothers back to black. I just picked some up myself, but have yet to try it.

I used black trim paint on my original grey flares. Not to glossy.

They make plastic trim dye for that. I believe either duplicolor or someone makes it. I even saw it at walmart with the automotive spray paint. I haven't used it, but I have had good things about it.

i was looking at the forever black and make sure you do not get it on your paint, if you do wash it before it dries.

well, i used the forever black, works badass on the bumper vinyl, mirrors, handles. but it just plain ****ed up my fender flairs. i guess because of all the **** i used on em before. i cant figure out how to get em clean.

how do you clean off that silicone based **** anyway? it says on the bottle clean everything and it seems everything was clean enough but the damn flairs...

oh yeah, you can get it on your paint, its water based, it wont pentrate it so you can use alittle compound and it comes right off if it dries.
