get an Ozone Machine.
I bought one when the barn next to us burned, my truck was covered in smoke, and the windows were cracked, the inside stunk for a about a week, i ended up picking one of these machines and in like 2 hours it totally cleared any smells out.
you should ask a detailing place if they have one, then have them use it. they;re kinda expensive for a one time use.

Whatever you do though, don't sit in the vehicle unless you air it out after running the ionizer machine because you could potentially get ozone sickness. Oh, and the machine makes your truck smell awesome for a while too (atleast I like the smell) it smells really clean

You could try leaving a bowl of vinegar in it, it will absorb the odor.

Better yet, just spill the vinegar in there
It'll make you forget about the gas smell all together

I heard an open bag of charcoal absorbs odors as well. Never tried it myself tho.

x's on ozone. Ever notice after a thunderstorm how fresh the air smells? That's ozone produced from an electrical arc (lightning). My parents have a dog that was sprayed by a skunk. The only way to eliminate the odor from the house (from bathing the dog inside) was the ozone machine.

either go to the store and get an Ionizing machine, or use a trick i did when i had spilled gas in my old car i used to have before my truck. i put a paste of baking soda, water, dish soap, resolve stain remover, and, believe it or not, Windex. i used it on the carpet, let it set up for about an hour (it was super thick, like a milkshake), and vacuumed it up with a wet/dry shop vac. took the smell right out. no guarantees on color retention, because it's a pretty aggressive cleaner, so try some on a hidden spot first.

You replied to a thread that was like 1.5/2 years old. I hope the smell is gone by now.
