I have been searching the net for performance parts and i have noticed that the ford focus uses a duratech 2.3l with cosworth parts i know cosworth has built parts for the european model escort and it was a pretty hot little ride are these the same engines and will the cosworth parts work on the ranger engine mine is a 2002 any reliable info or links will help. vtec is honda vtech makes phones. focus owners going to boost often swap the 23ns crank as its the only one forged from the factory and will support up to 400hp. the 23ns does share the same head as the 23ew the vvt is located as an extra servo on the cam and not the cams themselves so a head that supports vvt should also bolt on to a ranger, although ive never heard of it being done. fully built na 23ns seems more effort then anyones willing to go through when you can just drop in a 302
