Ok, I know the lima motor loves boost, and I have seen them boosted to well over 500hp. My problem is that I don't have a lima, and am not overly experienced with turbos. I know the basics, but need help with the details. My motor is running a static 9.85:1 compression, and I don't want to tear into the internals yet. Will it live on 5-7 lbs of boost, or should I stick to nitrous, or should I just go get a junk yard motor and start the frankenstiening? Does any body know of someone who makes crap for the Duratech?

if i remember right i think that the same motor in the focus so you maybe beable to use those parts not 100% sure on that tho if you do run boost you would need to upgrade your fuel and mass air even at low boost i know the 2.3L can hadel that much boost but im not sure about the duratec

 

i think that 5psi is enough, anything higher and you looking at forged internals

 

Focussport actually claims 12psi and 241hp on stock for reliability. Thanks for y'alls help, I think I know witch direction to head!
