E85 mix to make 93

Has anymore mixed E85 with 91 to make 93 octane . I’m in Cali so we don’t have 93 octane and I only need 2 gallons of E85 to mix with 15 gallons of 91 to make 93 octane has anyone tried this . I have a 2011 2.3l will be getting a dyno tune for 93 octane. I do not have flex fuel .

That might be too much alcohol. It could separate from the gasoline when moisture is absorbed. Toluene would be a better choice to bump octane although probably more expensive.

Yes, you can do that, calculator here: https://www.brewcityboost.com/about/ethanol-calculator/

You need to know the octane rating of the E85 at your local station, it varies, from 100 to 105
Also if the 91 octane gas already has ethanol and what %

I don't think the 2 to 15 would work

Obviously the more ethanol mixed in the lower the power, ethanol just has less energy to release per gallon than gasoline, but a pinging/knocking engine has even less power, lol, and that's what octane rating is all about
