Has anyone tried a glass pack on the 4 banger? I'm only looking for a free flowing exhaust that doesn't add much noise. I really don't want that annoying 'bzzzz' sound though, and that empty throat sound isn't good either. I'll be happy with stock if need be, I was just wandering if anyone tried a glasspack.

 

Running one now. It sounds great. Not very loud at all, mine dumps before the axle.

I've heard glass packs on an i-4 before, but it wasn't a ranger. It sounded good and not too loud either. I have red monomax shocks in the rear and thought a red glass pack would look better than a rusted muffler. Thanks for the reply. I'll try it, but I won't dump it cuz I live in an emissions county.

 

i rode in my friend's 2003 ranger with the DOHC 2.3... he has a glasspack instead of the stock muffler, and it sounds good... kinda quiet though... the lima engine would sound differently though...
