PCM rReplacment

I have a 2001 Ranger XLT, 2.3L DOHC, 5 speed standard.
Had a host of problems, all fixed except those related to p0325, Knock sensor bank 1circuit
Knock sensor and wires are good. No shorts to power/ground/each other.
I could not find any information about if those wire(s). Were; ground or supplied voltage to the sensor. PCM pins 32 and 57 .

So I looked up others cars/trucks that used that sensor, went to the junkyard and measured the resistance on those wires without sensor.
The three I found showed 1M ohm to body ground on each wire, 2Mohm between the two wires. Now I had something to go by.

I checked my truck's knock sensor circuit at the Pcm, pins 32 and 57. Both were open, between each other and to grounds.
Conclusion: bad pcm!

I found this thread at https://www.ranger-forums.com/genera...ad-pcm-158639/ RonD Said in a reply to match the last letters. My PCM is 1L5A-12A650-APF

I went back to the junkyard, did a "hollander Interchange" cross search for that pcm. It looks I am not restricted to the -APF But am restricted to Mazzda/Ranger 2.3L stick shift. I did not find a replacement PCM today.
here are other PCM's that will work.
2001 1L5A-APD
2001 1L5A-APE
01 &02 1L5A-APF
02 - 03 1L5A-APG
02 - 03 1U7A-FEA

I will be using FORScan software to get the PATS working, enter the vin#, mileage

Questions:
Do I need anything else with the replacement PCM? air bag module? , anti-lock brake module?
