02 slip?

So I have had this problem for a few months now. I have a 02 FX4, automatic. I was thinking that it was a fuel injector problem for a while, but now I am thinking it could possibly be trans related.
When I mash on the gas, it feels like it's slipping or something isn't grabbing. If I am light on the throttle it's fine. No check engine lights. I don't have too much knowledge on transmissions but any help would be great. Could it be the wonderful torsen getting ready to grenade, or do they just go all at once?
I changed the trans. fluid and filter about 15,000 miles ago. I didn't do the flush, just dropped the pan. Also did the rearend fluid about 6,000 miles ago, filled back up with synthetic. Like I said, any help or other ideas would help.

Has anyone ever tried using the Lucas Oil stop slip?

Fluid level ok in trans? Will it spin the tires from a stop? Hold the brake and gas, see what RPM it's at, don't let the tires spin, should go up to a point and not be able to accelerate anymore.
