05 5 spd 4.0 4x4 probs

tranny is bad .where to get good pricing on trans.should i also search used trans.makes horrible noise when trying to get in gear sometimes and getting more frequent, sounds like motor is reving up .any help

Have you checked the slave cylinder? If it going out the clutch won't release fully.

it has 125000 on it all highway.how to check slave cylinder?

how does the pedal feel? i doubt the trans is no good, unless your drive the crap out of it. put a new clutch and slave on it and see what it does... And fyi those slaves can be a mf to bleed.
