06 2.3 2 wd. Error codes out the wazoo

Hello. I've been given a 2006 Ranger 2 wd, 2.3 auto. My brother was nice enough to get it for me for about 2k and put in a new windshield. And being a mid 50's teenager I immediately overheated it. So there went another 4k of his hard earned dollars. Ran great for about 3k miles. Then it put up 11 or more codes. Wouldn't pull a ten gallon hat off a cat in forward. In reverse worked fine. My buddy has a lot better code reader than my $20 unit. He said most likely (cause you know nobody wants to be wrong) it's either the transmission part of the ECM or the wiring from ECM to the transmission. I didn't question ECM vs PCM at this point it's tomato/grapes anyway. Since the codes are saying either almost all solenoids went out at once or there's a problem up river. So now my belly and I are going to do what I had hoped I was too old for. And that's a continuity check on all the wires from the control mod.to the transmission. Since most of the wiring is encased and I've never done this before I think it is wise to get a diagram of the wiring harness before I do something stupid. And yes that is a danger when I'm fixing something. Well no way of making a short story out of a long one now. Does anyone have a diagram for that part of the wiring harness? And if anyone else has a couple of pennies they will throw in I'd be glad to hear what you got to say. Thanks ahead of time for any and all help that keeps my belly from walking.
