I have a 1998 Ford Ranger 3.0 with only 110K on it and I replaced the clutch master cylinder and it lasted only 3,000 miles and started leaking. Bought it from Oriellys . I brought it in to my mechanic and he looked at it and put a new one on and then called me to tell me my clutch did not look good and recommended that I replace it along with the slave. What clutch kit with the slave should I buy OEM Ford parts only or is there a better brand that is better then Ford. Just trying to do a shout out because I also have a 86 Toyota 4x4 with a whole lot more miles and still have the original clutch.

Either Ford or LUK. (Lamellen und Kupplungsbau)
They're the ones that came up with it.

+1 ^^^

LUK is a good brand

Also make sure you(they) use the self-adjusting pressure plate, not the regular pressure plate, it costs a bit more but well worth it for longer life

Never get "racing" clutch discs for street driving, they are made of a softer material that gets "sticky" when heated up, which is great for racing, but they also only last maybe 25% of a regular material clutch disc
