2001 4.0 into 99 4.0

2001 4.0 into 99 4.0
I have a 99 ranger xlt 4.0 auto that I just lost compression in cillinder a 1 and 4 just picked up an 01 xlt that's 4.0 standard what am i up against to try and swap motors

They aren't the same motors, I don't think the computer in your 99 will be able to run it

Yea I knew the motors were different just was curious how much wiring would have to be changed to do it decided to just sell them both and buy another
