2002 Ford Ranger, No forward gears?

2002 Ford Ranger, No forward gears?
I have a 2002 Ford Ranger that will not go into any forward gears, It has reverse... Is there a solenoid or something that causes this problem??? What can I check to troubleshoot this problem??? The fluid and filter was changed about 200 miles ago... Thank You for your help, John...
