2002 halfshaft question...
So my passenger side halfshaft is squeaking, and it's been getting progressively worse over the past month or so. I know it needs some work, so here's my question: Can I just punch a pinhole in each of the boots and PB Blast the crap out of it? Or should I just replace it? I know I'm probably gonna get barraged with a bunch of posts tellin me to replace it, but over the past two days my friends and I just did the tie-rod inners and outers, a lower ball joint, and a hub/wheel bearing assembly, and I really don't wanna take my truck apart again. Saving the extra couple bucks wouldn't be bad either. However, I do wanna fix my truck, even if I have to rip it apart again, so please let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

The hubs seals on 98+ 4x4s have been known to produce a high pitched squeal when they get dry or dirty. I don't remeber hearing of a fix for that. If the half shaft itself is squeaking, I would replace it.
