Need help with Speed Sensor wiring

Hey guys, just bought a 1998 Ranger 4cyl,auto.Knew it had tranny issues when I bought it.It has a blinking O/D light, but I have found the problem(hopefully). The wires on the speed sensor(On the rear axle)have been cut(or were ripped apart by some crazy driving). There is only about 12" of wire hanging and I don't know what they are supposed to go to.Do they go to another speed control sensor on the transmission.Any help is really appreciated.

No, they go directly to the 4WABS module if you have 4 wheel anti-lock brakes.

OR

To the RABS and GEM modules if you have only rear anti-lock brakes, the wires are spliced.

Good news is that the wire colors are the same through out, so you really just need to find the other ends.

Here are the wiring diagrams for both types
