2007 Ranger auto fussy
2007 Ranger auto fussy
Hello All:
I have a 2007 Ranger, 4 cylinder, auto trans. It just turned over 100K miles.
The only transmission service I have performed was to drop the pan, replace the filter (AC Delco), and four quarts, or so of Motorcraft Mercon as a top off. This was done at 80K miles.
The symptom is holding 2nd gear longer. Not happening every time I drive, and doesn't matter hot, or cold. It might do this once in a 17 mile drive, or it might do this 3, or 4 times.
Fluid level is fine, no smell, and the fluid color is good.
Any advice before I have a transmission shop check the truck?
Thanks, and have a nice day, Bill
