3.0 Vulcan to T5

Been searching forums and haven't found a definitive parts list of how to mate a 3.0 vulcan motor to a t5 or some other passenger car type 5 speed. Anyone know what bellhousings can be used on the 3.0? I can't find an aerostar bell, is that the only one?

Welcome to the forum

3.0l Vulcan was made from 1986 to 2008, and Ford did use it in cars and light trucks and vans, most of the cars were front wheel drive so won't be of much use to you.

Bell housing patterns here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...can_V6_pattern

Not a long list for vulcan engine matchup
Vulcan V6 pattern
2.3/2.5L HSC FWD I4
3.0L Vulcan V6 (FWD and RWD)
3.0/3.2L SHO V6
3.8L Canadian Essex 90° V6 (FWD only)

The M5OD-R1 5-speed trans is what came with most if not all 3.0l RWD vehicles

EDIT:
I found this article on how to do it, there is no off-the-shelf adapter to mate 3.0l vulcan to a T5
But you can build one: http://rogueperformance.com/t5install.html

You need a detachable bell housing that fits a 3.0l RWD, and that was only found on '86/'87 Aerostar vans with manual transmissions
