ok I thought I saw this on here but can't find it. I put my truck in 4wd to come up my drive and it is in 4wd but when I first start it the light flashes and then goes off. I can't get it to do anything so now it is stuck in 4wd. Anyone know whats going on with it?

 

nevemind let it sit for awhile then went back and it worked correctly

 

Shift motor was stuck in between shifts. It may need to be cleaned or replaced.

mine used to do it ALL the time in Texas when it was hot out side, its messed up on me once here, luckily i didn't NEED it at the time.
