It's alive! It was just a fuse. So yesterday I went out to ride some trails when I stumbled on this tiny puddle, so I drove into not realizing it was like quick sand. My dumb *** never checked my fuses so I didn't have 4x4 and didn't put my book back in my truck and didn't have service in the woods so I couldn't check em. So I was beat. While I was waiting for a friend to come and pull me out a game warden rolled up, gave me a ticket and wouldn't pull me out!

I don't remember what it was exactly but it was along the lines of destroying park property with a vehicle. It's $85 and two points. Not only am I allowed to drive there, they have to maintain the trails and I didn't destroy anything. So I'm going to contact my lawyer and fight it

^^^ if your on park property and you go threw ruts or spin your tires on dirt or what ever. its destroying the property. most of the parks you can drive in if your going fishing hunting etc. if you see a mud hole you go around it if that's not possible you turn around . i see your from new jersey. in the state of new jersey off roading is illegal every where. but private property with written document saying your aloud to be there.or if you own it. if you got stuck you more then likely spun your tires trying to get out putting a rut there. so for doing nothing wrong it sounds like 1 you did destroy the property, 2 you where off roading illegally just my opinion but youll have a good one when you try to fight it in court they could have taken your truck and impounded it

The ruts were already there, it was a legit trail, they are supposed to maintain said trail, I was allowed back there, it is not illegal to off road everywhere, and who is to say I was wheeling wink wink, that is one of the few places to deer hunt in jersey, I can say I was checking the area to see if it was worth hunting next year.

dose not matter if the ruts where there you didn't go around them. who told you you where allowed back there? and yes it is illegal to 4 wheel any where in NJ unless it is private property with written promission or your the owner. but you do have the looking for a hunting spot going for you just make shore it comes up as a road on the map. people who wheel where they shouldn't be and dont do it the right way give all 4 wheelers a bad name.. in warton its the same way you can cruise the dirt roads but if a ranger sees you go in to mud or off the road on an unmarked trail say good bye to your truck or empty your pockets becuses they will slam you with tons of fines..

um theres no need to be a dick. i am an avid hunter and have had my license for over ten years. And whats to say i could get around them. oh yeah and the guy who wrote the ticket was the guy who told me i could be there and the majority of the trails show up on my gps.

That would be me^^ I hear a lie you where told by the same guy who gave you the ticket dosen't sound right if you couldn't go around then you should have turned a round. And if the trails show up on the gps its still a road. And not made for 4wheeling. I'm not being a dick but if your going to pay a lawyer to try to beat an 85$ ticket you better have good reasons. Next time find some property that some one you know owns and wheel there because NJ sucks and there's no legal wheeling unless you or some one u know has property

Ok, he did it, got the ticket. I think we can let it die now instead creating the whole drama thing

uhh on access roads people use for hunting you can always turn around on the spot, i'm an avid hunter as well and believe me i know how access roads are. either you will end up in a gutter or in soft soil and leaves off the trail, there are places were you can turn off to park / turn around, and there are also places wide enough to turn around, put such places are few and far apart, point in case, you can't always turn around and the only way to avoid some places is to is to throw your truck in reverse and keep it there for a quarter of a mile
